Job summary

Mission Pet Health is seeking a Lead Customer Service Representative at our Chicago, IL hospital to lead daily front desk operations, coach CSRs, and ensure top-notch client experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.
• Strong computer skills, including scheduling systems and POS platforms.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly, empathetically, and professionally.
• Prior lead, senior, or mentoring experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience in veterinary, healthcare, or multi-location service environments is preferred.
• Competitive sign-on bonus offered, determined by level of experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, serving as a role model for service excellence and handling core CSR duties.
• Mentor the team with onboarding, coaching and development planning.
• Act as the first escalation point for client concerns and service recovery.
• Drive cross-department communication with technicians, veterinarians and leadership.
• Support daily front desk coverage and maintain scheduling accuracy.
• Uphold hospital values and maintain a calm presence during high-volume periods.
