Job summary

Transdev North America is seeking an experienced Lead Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a fleet that includes pickup trucks and class 8 trucks and trailers. You will lead a team of technicians, ensure safety and efficiency, and uphold high maintenance standards across our fleet.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, accurate record-keeping, and timely service delivery. A Class A CDL endorsement, ASE certification, and a DOT-compliant background are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair (preferred)
• Class A CDL with air brake endorsement (preferred)
• ASE Certification preferred; state inspection license (if required)

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs with supervision on basic and advanced maintenance tasks.
• Lead and train other technicians in the work group.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, parts used, and inspections.
• Adhere to safety standards and DOT regulations; participate in road calls if needed.
