The role focuses on vehicle handling, electronic stability control, and braking simulations in a hybrid Portland setting.

The position requires collaboration with design engineers, digital mock-up teams, and test groups, with travel up to 10% annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering required.
• 5 years of related experience.
• Experience with multibody simulations (SIMPACK/ADAMS) and FEA (NASTRAN) required.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, MATLAB; strong technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical lead in the vehicle model building process using MBD and FEA.
• Focus on vehicle handling, stability control and braking simulations.
• Support design engineers to meet performance targets before physical validation.
• Mentor junior team members and communicate results to stakeholders.
