Job summary

KBR Careers seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP) based in Jacksonville, FL. You will lead a team of mechanics, scheduling maintenance, and ensuring vehicle readiness in support of USMC operations.

Responsibilities include coordinating with other departments, enforcing safety, and driving improvements while adhering to ISO-9002 policies. A background in motor transport maintenance and supervision is required.

Qualifications

• Must pass a U.S. Government background investigation and obtain a Secret Clearance; US citizenship required.
• 8+ years of related work experience including 2+ years in supervision within motor transport.
• Completion of motor transport maintenance officer course or equivalent required.
• Ability to review technical specs, forecast spare parts, and identify improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead day-to-day maintenance department activities.
• Ensure equipment readiness and proper maintenance shop organization.
• Supervise mechanics performing inspections, repairs, and storage of light/medium wheeled vehicles.
• Determine work sequencing based on priority and equipment availability.
• Maintain repair parts inventory and ensure compliance with specs and schedules.
• Coordinate department activities with other teams and adhere to safety policies.
