Job summary

PACCAR in Kirkland, WA seeks a Control System Owner to lead development, integration, and release of vehicle control systems across programs, coordinating with systems/software/electrical engineering, validation, manufacturing, and suppliers.

You will define and maintain system requirements, drive risk management, and ensure deliverables meet cost, timing, and quality targets, while supporting vehicle launches and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 7+ years in engineering, systems development, PM, or supplier management.
• Experience leading multi-stakeholder projects with external suppliers.
• Strong PM and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple activities.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication.
• Ability to travel up to 10%, including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage development, integration, and release of vehicle control systems from kickoff through production.
• Develop and maintain system requirements and communicate to suppliers and stakeholders.
• Work with suppliers to ensure PACCAR requirements are delivered on schedule.
• Track Quality, Cost, Timing, and Performance (QCTP) objectives for control systems.
• Lead technical reviews with suppliers and ensure development process adherence.
• Coordinate activities across the systems engineering V-Cycle.
• Collaborate with teams across software engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, validation, supplier quality, purchasing, manufacturing, service engineering, and IT to support program objectives.
• Identify program risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Support verification and validation planning and testing.
• Assist with vehicle launch activities, plant support, and field issue investigations.
• Promote continuous improvement in product quality, supplier performance, and development processes.
• Demonstrate teamwork and communication across organizations.
