The role requires a 4-year nursing degree, RN licensure in NC, and leadership experience; board certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years leadership experience preferred.
• Three years RN clinical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the state required.
• Knowledge of budgeting, staffing, payroll and purchasing processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and operational oversight for the Vascular Access Team.
• Manage daily operations, staffing, team performance and clinical outcomes.
• Coach and develop team members while promoting clinical excellence.
• Ensure safe and timely placement and management of vascular access devices.
• Collaborate with nursing, providers and interdisciplinary teams to support patient care needs.
• Promote evidence-based practices, quality improvement and patient safety.
