Job summary

VPNE Parking Solutions LLC in California seeks a Lead Valet to help the operation run smoothly with enthusiastic team members, delivering exceptional service and safe, efficient experiences for guests. Schedule: Mon–Fri 6:30 AM–3:00 PM.

You will train staff, set the workplace tone, and ensure uniform standards are followed in a fast-paced garage. The role requires supervisory experience, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to communicate clearly with guests and teammates.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing personality required.
• Must have supervisory experience.
• Able to smile during customer interactions.
• Upbeat personality and strong work ethic.
• Maintain VPNE uniform standards when on premises.
• Ability to run and move quickly.
• Ability to organize cars efficiently.
• Stand for long periods.
• Able to safely operate vehicles and pass a driving test on a manual transmission vehicle.
• Lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid Driver's License in the state of residency.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check and RMV check.
• Ability to create relationships with customers.
• Clean driving record deemed insurable by VPNE's insurer

Responsibilities

• Ensures employees and guests are safe at all times.
• If needed - safely operate vehicles to minimize the potential for accidents.
• Oversee the tracking of keys and vehicles throughout the garage.
• Ensures all team members provide exceptional guest experiences by smiling at, greeting, and helping every guest as they enter the garage.
• Sets the tone for the workplace by keeping an upbeat attitude.
• Must be enthusiastic about the job, creating a positive environment for the team members and customers to enjoy.
• Remind team members always to use approved language choices.
• Communicate with other co-workers to inform each other of the organizational plan constructed when the shift is over.
• Always set an example by looking sharp and helping employees understand how to adhere to VPNE's uniform guidelines successfully.
• Oversee team members and keep a professional work area.
• A lead valet will train new valets, providing them with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their duties effectively and safely.
