Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced UXO Technician to lead field munitions response projects in the U.S. and abroad. As on‑site authority, you will oversee safety, quality, compliance, and end‑to‑end execution of UXO operations, including EOD procedures and plans.

You must have 13+ years of combined active‑duty EOD and contractor UXO experience, and be able to obtain security clearances. This role requires US citizenship and stringent safety standards, with hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 13+ years of combined active‑duty military EOD and contractor UXO experience.
• Experience with MEC/HTRW and Construction Support procedures.
• Ability to pass a DoD/DoJ Security Background Check or NAC.
• Graduate of a UXO‑TI Course or US Naval School of Explosive Ordnance Disposal (Phase I & II).
• Walking, hiking, and working in remote locations and outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex munitions response projects in the U.S. and abroad.
• Serve as on‑site authority for UXO operations—safety, quality, compliance, and execution from start to finish.
• Mentor teams and implement written plans to maintain safe and compliant work environments.
