Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced UXO Technician to lead complex munitions response projects in the U.S. and abroad. This role is ideal for seasoned UXO leaders who are confident making field decisions, driving safety performance, and mentoring teams in challenging environments.

The candidate shall be qualified to perform Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) procedures and be competent in management, safety, and quality functions related to investigation and removal of UXO, DMM, and MC.

Qualifications

• Minimum 13+ years of combined active-duty military EOD and contractor UXO experience.
• Experience with MEC/HTRW and Construction Support procedures.
• Experience implementing Army, Navy, or Air Force project work plans in roles such as SUXOS/UXOSO/UXOQCS.
• Possess US Citizenship and ability to pass DoD/DoJ background checks or NAC.
• Graduate of VXO-TI or US Naval EOD School (Phase I & II).

• Serve as on-site authority for UXO operations—safety, quality, compliance, and execution.
• Lead complex munitions response projects in the U.S. and abroad.
