Job summary

SBM is seeking a Senior UX UI Designer in California who will lead visual design and influence product direction. You will mentor designers, collaborate with leadership, and shape next-generation interfaces across desktop, web, and mobile platforms.

The role requires a strong portfolio, 2–5+ years of experience, and deep proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and frontend technologies. Travel to various sites is possible as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 6–8 years related experience.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery).
• Strong UX/UI portfolio with mobile/responsive design experience.
• Ability to lead and mentor designers and communicate with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement design criteria, guidelines, and specs across desktop, web, and mobile.
• Brainstorm, revise, and collaborate with a visually oriented team.
• Translate business needs into user experience solutions for a complex organization.
• Conduct research including competitive analysis, interviews, analytics, and heuristic evaluation.
• Create storyboards, flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to guide development.
