Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a senior front-end engineering leader to own the enterprise UI component library. You will guide design-to-code, ensure accessibility, and drive quality across React, Storybook, and modern front-end tools.

You will collaborate with Digital Solution Capabilities, translate UX specs into production-ready components, and mentor UX Engineers and developers through hands-on guidance and code reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Extensive front-end engineering experience with JavaScript and CSS, plus strong knowledge of TypeScript/TSX/JSX, HTML, and modern browser APIs.
• Experience building reusable component libraries or design systems using React and Storybook.
• Understanding of component architecture, design tokens, and scalable CSS.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical roadmap for the enterprise UI component library and coordinate across teams.
• Establish governance, standards, and contribution practices for components, patterns, and design tokens.
• Build, test, document, and maintain reusable UI components using modern front-end frameworks.
• Translate UX/UI specifications into pixel-accurate, accessible, production-ready components.
• Review code for visual fidelity, accessibility, and maintainability; mentor engineers non-managerially.
