Job summary

Proof Trading seeks an experienced UX Developer to lead UI work for an AI trading copilot. You will design interfaces for trading systems, balancing security, throughput, and resiliency across internal and client tools.

As part of a dynamic startup, you will also help with day-to-day ops, monitoring, and DevOps efforts, including CI/CD and release management. Strong communication and a passion for transparency are valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in UX Development.
• Experience setting up DevOps pipelines and source code scanners.
• Experience setting up Linux servers, including routes and VPNs.
• Familiarity with FIX Protocol and AWS is a plus.
• Strong communication and writing skills; interest in equity market structure.
• Diversity and startup mindset.

Job description

• Improve existing systems and drive development for new tools to be used by internal teams and clients, leading UI development for our new AI trading copilot product.
• Design and build UI for trading systems, focusing on security, high throughput and resiliency.
• Help with day-to-day operations, support, and monitoring of the trading system, along with building tools and automation that streamline these processes
• Help with DevOps, including CI/CD and release management

About You

General background

• 5+ years of experience in UX Development.
• Experience setting up DevOps processes (such as git repositories, source code scanners, continuous integration pipelines, artifact repositories).
• Experience setting up Linux servers, including networking aspects such as routes and VPN tunnels.
• Experience with financial markets tools (ex: FIX Protocol) and AWS is a plus.
