Job summary

KTek Resourcing LLC is seeking an experienced Lead UX Designer to transform legacy banking applications into modern, scalable digital experiences. You will lead enterprise UX initiatives across complex modernization programs with a focus on usability and accessibility.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in UX/Product design, strong leadership, and deep Banking domain knowledge, along with expertise in UX strategy, research, IA, and design systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of UX/Product Design experience.
• 3+ years leading legacy/mainframe modernization initiatives in Banking.
• Strong hands-on experience with Banking Domain and Enterprise/Legacy Application Modernization.
• Expertise in UX Research, UX Strategy, Design Thinking, Information Architecture, Interaction Design, Journey Mapping, and Usability Testing.
• Experience designing data-intensive enterprise applications, dashboards, analytics, and workflow management systems.
• Strong understanding of business process analysis, enterprise application architecture, and workflow optimization.
• Experience developing and maintaining Enterprise Design Systems and reusable UX components.
• Proficiency in Figma, FigJam, Sketch, Miro, Photoshop, or equivalent tools.
• Strong knowledge of Responsive Design, WCAG 2.1 AA, Accessibility, and Inclusive Design.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Lean UX, and Dual-Track Agile.
• Strong stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, communication, and UX team leadership skills.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Enterprise UX Design, Banking Domain, Legacy Application Modernization, UX Strategy, Design Thinking, and UX Leadership, with experience simplifying complex business workflows and modernizing legacy green-screen applications.
