Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Lead UX Designer for remote contract work to drive end-to-end provider-facing experiences for prescription CGM products. You will translate complex glucose data into clear workflows for healthcare professionals and collaborate across Product, Engineering, Research, and Regulatory to deliver high-fidelity designs and approvals.

You will mentor designers, conduct usability testing, and contribute to design-excellence within a regulated healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of UX or product design experience with senior/lead responsibility on complex digital health, medical device, clinical software, or other regulated products.
• Provider-facing healthcare UX with experience designing for healthcare professionals and complex clinical workflows.
• Demonstrated end-to-end product design across problem framing, workflow mapping, interaction design, usability testing, rationale, documentation, and cross-functional approvals.
• Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with iOS, Android, accessibility, and design systems.
• Experience with regulated medical device software, prescription digital health products, Human Factors or usability engineering, WCAG guidelines, and healthcare data visualization preferred.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, regulated, fast-paced environment, manage schedules, prioritize work, communicate tradeoffs, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design for provider experiences across CGM products from problem framing through high-fidelity design and approvals.
• Develop understanding of provider workflows including onboarding, data review, follow-up care, and treatment decisions.
• Translate glucose data and system states into provider-friendly experiences to support clinical decisions.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, Human Factors, Regulatory, Quality, Medical Affairs, and Legal on needs, feasibility, risk, labeling, approvals.
• Plan and support provider research, usability testing, and Human Factors activities; synthesize findings into design direction.
• Facilitate workshops and present recommendations to cross-functional teams and leadership.
• Mentor designers and contribute to a culture of design excellence.
