Job summary

Age of Learning is seeking a passionate Lead UX Designer to shape end-user experiences for ABCmouse and related products. You will drive UX across game experiences, balance educational goals with delightful play, and guide features from rough concept to launch.

You'll rely on data, user research, and collaboration with producers, engineers, educators, and artists to ship polished experiences for children aged 2–10 and their families, while exploring AI-assisted design workflows to accelerate

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in game design, UX design, or a hybrid of both
• Proven experience designing mobile products, education or child/family-focused apps
• Proficiency in Figma for UX flows, prototypes, and specs
• Track record of delivering live-service content and iterating post-launch using data
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering, art, and education teams
• Action-oriented with producer mindset—drive work forward to completion
• Passion and empathy for end users, especially children and families

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality UX flows, wireframes, prototypes, and visual specs in Figma for engineering and product teams
• Use data, user research, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and validate design decisions
• Collaborate with producers, engineers, educators, and artists to bring features from inception to shipped product
• Champion end users—children aged 2–10 and their parents—ensuring accessible, delightful experiences
• Maintain understanding of ABCmouse product, user base, and competitive landscape to surface improvements
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate design exploration, prototyping, and launch of designs
• Partner with data teams to pull and interpret metrics informing live-service decisions
• Contribute to design system standards and best practices across ABCmouse product and AI workflows
