Compensation:

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $111,500 - $185,800.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Lead User Experience Designer to craft experiences for Grainger's enterprise applications and customer-facing solutions, ensuring we remain a destination for "the ones that get it done." This role focuses on elevating the Grainger KeepStock platform, our inventory management solution, across web, mobile, and device platforms. The position reports to the Director of User Experience Design and offers flexible work arrangements, including hybrid and full remote options. Some travel may be required for team meetings, research, and user engagement.

You Will:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design user experiences for customers and internal users.
• Align patterns and priorities with other UX and UI Designers.
• Facilitate discussions to define experience needs.
• Create concepts and detailed designs, including user flows and wireframes.
• Understand technical and business constraints to iterate on designs.
• Evaluate and suggest improvements to existing experiences.
• Present design rationale and develop documentation.
• Conduct user testing and research to enhance UX.

You Have:

• 5+ years of UX experience with Agile teams; enterprise B2B experience preferred.
• Formal education in Human-Centered Design or related fields, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with complex business processes and internal tools.
• Proficiency in wireframing, design, and testing tools.
• Experience with pattern libraries and design systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience designing responsive web solutions.
• Work samples demonstrating problem-solving and user empathy.
• Experience in eCommerce, inventory management, or UI for physical products is a plus.
