You will lead and mentor a team of designers, set design strategy, and partner with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to embed UX principles across the product lifecycle.

Grounded in customer understanding, you will drive high-quality experiences, evolve design standards, and leverage data and insights to deliver meaningful improvements for learners and educators.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of people management experience leading design teams of 10 or more.
• Deep expertise in UX and UI design principles, human-centered design methodologies, and modern product design processes.
• Outstanding leadership with a track record of mentoring high-performing teams.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build partnerships.
• A portfolio is required to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Lead impactful design by empowering your team to create exceptional, modern experiences grounded in data and customer insights.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Marketing leaders to define focus areas and embed UX principles across development.
• Drive intuitive, scalable design patterns from early concepts to polished solutions that meet customer needs.
• Set and evolve UX standards, principles, and guidelines for consistent, high-quality experiences.
• Continuously evaluate the customer experience using data and insights to drive improvements.
• Stay ahead of evolving design trends and AI capabilities to advance the design practice.
• Use design as a competitive advantage by differentiating our products.
• Develop talent by coaching and mentoring team members.
