Qualifications

• 12+ years of UX/Product Design experience with 4+ years at Staff/Principal level.
• Portfolio of enterprise-scale B2B data-intensive interfaces.
• Deep expertise in design systems governance and cross-team adoption.
• Strong technical fluency to read, review, and contribute to production code.
• Experience designing for complex data visualization and dashboards.
• Track record influencing product strategy at organizational level.
• Experience mentoring a team of senior designers.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term UX vision and roadmap for OpenSearch products.
• Architect and govern agentic design patterns across OpenSearch.
• Lead agent-guided onboarding experiences to accelerate migrations.
• Own multi-surface strategy across IDE, MCP, CLI, and web.
• Drive design-as-code practices and production prototypes.
• Scale impact via the OpenSearch design system and DesignBrain tooling.
• Lead UX critique sessions and mentor senior designers.
• Present data-driven design narratives to executives.
