Job summary

ArborWorks, LLC is seeking a Foreperson – Utility Vegetation Management (UVM) in Grants Pass, Oregon. You will lead a single field crew, directing daily tasks, ensuring safety, and coordinating with management to meet utility specifications and company standards.

The role requires CDL A, DOT medical certificate, CPR/First Aid within 90 days, and willingness to travel. Field conditions are outdoors with significant physical work and early/extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct a single field crew performing utility vegetation management work.
• Assign daily tasks, coordinate work activities, and monitor job progress throughout the workday.
• Provide clear direction and on-the-job instruction to crew members.
• Maintain accountability for crew conduct, attendance, and adherence to company expectations.
• Lead by example to promote professionalism, teamwork, and a strong safety culture.
• Perform vegetation management work such as tree trimming, climbing, rigging, and ground operations.
• Operate equipment like chainsaws and chippers.
• Set up job sites and coordinate traffic control when applicable.
• Ensure proper handling, cleanup, and disposal of vegetation debris.
• Complete required job documentation including production reporting and timekeeping.
