Job summary

Wolf Tree, Inc. in Johnson City, TN is seeking a Foreman/Foreperson to lead a crew in utility line clearance and tree trimming services for major electric utilities. You will supervise work, coordinate equipment, and ensure safety and efficiency on site.

The role requires driving, experience with pruning and removal, and the ability to manage tools and lifts. This onsite position offers growth opportunities and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Driver’s license required; CDL preferred and may be required depending on job requirements.
• Pesticide license required by state law if applicable.
• Herbicide license a plus.
• Line clearance certification if working near utility transmission lines.
• ISA Certified Tree Worker certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide crew supervision and line clearing and tree trimming services for electric utility providers.
• Prune treetops, trim or remove damaged trees, and remove broken limbs from wires, roofs, and other objects.
• Direct crew members and equipment; plan and execute assigned work and tasks.
• Supervise and assist in maintenance, preparation and operation of tools and equipment including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
• Operate as part of a crew with Groundmen and Trimmer/Climber.
