Job summary

ASU seeks a Utility Piping Specialist for the West Valley campus to install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including complex piping work. A high school diploma and several years of related experience are required, with potential assignments to other ASU campuses.

This full-time, non-exempt position offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to contribute to critical facilities operations across ASU campuses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and three years experience or equivalent combination
• Experience in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and domestic water, vent and utility piping systems
• Experience inspecting utility mechanical components and working with blueprints

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and related piping.
• Locate, repair, and replace malfunctioning parts using hand and power tools.
• Inspect mechanical components and perform soldering, brazing, and metal fabrication/repair.
• Work with drawings and specifications.
• Install and repair water and drain lines.
