Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Lead General Utility Worker to oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of front and back of house facilities. The role may involve delegation of tasks to utility staff to meet client needs and business priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role with strong sanitation knowledge.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on prior experience to solve problems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• May act as an informal resource for those with less experience.
• Extensive knowledge of cleaning techniques for kitchen equipment.
• Thorough understanding of basic sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Trains and guides utility staff on job duties and proper safety and sanitation procedures
• Maintains guest satisfaction by keeping dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment and utensils cleaned and sanitized
• Maintains and cleans a dishwashing station, three-compartment sink, storerooms, refrigerators, and related areas
• Ensures equipment is clean and in working condition; reports issues to management
• Performs other light maintenance and custodial tasks
• Maintains excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Follows Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
