Job summary

The City of Anna, Texas is seeking a Utilities Supervisor to plan, supervise and review activities of the water and wastewater sections, ensuring operations meet customer needs and regulatory requirements. You will lead utility crews, train staff, coordinate maintenance, monitor SCADA systems, and ensure safety and performance.

This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to respond to emergencies and after-hours calls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 5+ years in utilities with 2+ years of management.
• Experience supervising diverse crews and coordinating daily utility operations.
• Knowledge of Texas TNRCC/regs and water/wastewater standards.
• Class A CDL within 12 months; B license preferred for water/wastewater.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to utility crews in water and wastewater operations.
• Plan and supervise day-to-day activities and staff training.
• Maintain and review SCADA data and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Prepare reports and regulatory documents.
• Respond to emergencies and after-hours repairs.
