Fitch Group is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst for US Corporates – Utilities & Midstream, based in New York with optional Chicago or Toronto offices. The role focuses on credit analysis, financial modeling, and presenting to credit rating committees.

You will engage with management teams and contribute to Fitch’s global research outputs. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in capital markets or credit analysis, strong Excel/Word skills, and a MBA or CFA-related credential is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3 years relevant experience in credit analysis or capital markets.
• Excel and Word proficiency essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis of quantitative and qualitative factors affecting credit quality in Utilities and Midstream.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models.
• Meet with industry management teams and present analyses to internal rating committees.
• Communicate rating rationale to external audiences in meetings, calls, and reports.
• Write timely, effective research on topical issues.
