Newport News Shipbuilding, a division of HII, is seeking a senior Project Manager to lead planning and delivery of complex utility infrastructure projects at our Newport News facility. The role requires coordinating electrical, water, steam, chilled water, and other utility systems while ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

Ideal candidates have ABET‑accredited engineering degrees with extensive project management experience, PMP and PE credentials, and a track record of managing

Qualificações

• ABET-accredited engineering degree; 6+ years progressive technical experience, or MS + 4 years.
• Experience leading utility infrastructure projects and capital programs.
• PMP certification and PE license or equivalent credentials.

Responsabilidades

• Lead planning and execution of utility infrastructure projects (electrical, water/wastewater, steam, chilled water, HVAC, gas).
• Oversee scope, engineering, estimation, scheduling and resource needs for projects.
• Ensure compliance with standards, codes, safety and quality expectations.

Formação

ABET-accredited engineering degree

Master's degree (4+ years relevant experience)

PMP certification

PE license or relevant certification
