Job summary

CPG is seeking a UPS Technician III to lead startups, certifications, preventative maintenance, and scheduled maintenance for UPS and Battery Systems in the Northern Virginia area. The role involves travel and coordinating with customers to ensure on-time delivery and quality service.

The candidate should possess strong leadership, communication, and troubleshooting abilities, with electrical/mechanical UPS experience and relevant safety certifications. Commitment to safe operations is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and UPS service experience required.
• Electrical/mechanical UPS system experience required.
• OSHA 30-hour, NFPA-70E, and Thermography Level 2+ certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform UPS replacements and new installations.
• Provide preventative maintenance and repairs with minimal disruption to customers.
• Lead jobs with multiple crew members of varying skill levels.
• Communicate effectively with general contractors, subcontractors, partners, and clients to complete projects on schedule and within budget.
• Operate UPS equipment including Battery systems, PDU’s, ATS, and rectifiers.
