Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and five years of experience in job related activities or two years of related college or technical training and three years of experience in job related activities.
• Strong communications skills
• Strong human relations skills to include; patience, understanding, empathy and listening.
• Ability to operate PC, copier, telephone and other standard office equipment.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Compliance with Federal and State banking laws and bank policies.

Responsibilities

• Coach and motivate staff to effectively sell and refer bank products and services.
• Accept and accurately process a variety of financial transactions for customers.
• Cross-sell other bank services and refer customers to other departments as appropriate.
• Prepare and compile new customer applications and information to open new accounts.
• Grow the Bank’s deposit base by consolidating customer accounts and handling loan applications.
• Assist in sales efforts and be a resource for other employees in cross selling deposit services.
• Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations relevant to the role.
• Schedule staff to maximize convenient and efficient customer service.
