Job summary

Rangeline Group in Austin, TX seeks a Construction Superintendent for Underground Wet Utilities with 3+ years of heavy civil experience. You will lead field operations, coordinate crews/subcontractors, and manage safety, schedule, and budget on water, sewer, and storm drain projects.

Responsibilities include directing field teams, maintaining work plans, ensuring quality, and collaborating with project managers. Valid license and OSHA 30 preferred.|

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in heavy civil construction
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and grade
• OSHA 30 (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience with coordinating crews, subcontractors, and field equipment

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations for underground utility projects including water, sewer, storm drain and related civil scopes
• Direct and coordinate crews, subcontractors, and vendors to meet production goals
• Build and maintain daily/weekly work plans aligned with project schedule
• Ensure proper installation methods, sequencing, and productivity in line with standards
• Perform regular site walks to monitor progress, quality, and safety
• Drive project schedule execution in coordination with the Project Manager
• Identify and remove field constraints (labor, materials, access, equipment)
• Monitor labor, equipment, and material usage against budget
• Communicate schedule impacts early and propose solutions
• Enforce company safety policies and regulatory requirements (OSHA, local/state)
• Coordinate inspections and testing as required
• Provide coaching and development to field team members
