Job summary

McLain Site Solutions is seeking an experienced Underground Utilities Foreman in Jacksonville, FL to lead pipe crews on heavy civil projects. You will supervise installation of water mains, sanitary sewer, and drainage systems, ensuring alignment with plans, specs, and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in underground utilities with foreman experience, strong leadership, and a valid driver's license. Competitive pay and full-time hours offered on site.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of underground utility experience including Foreman or Lead roles.
• Experience installing PVC, HDPE, DIP, RCP, fittings, valves, hydrants, manholes and related structures.
• Ability to read blueprints and utility plans.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead underground utility crews on active construction projects.
• Plan and coordinate daily work activities to meet production goals and schedules.
• Read and interpret utility plans, profiles, cut sheets and construction specs.
• Ensure proper line, grade, elevations and pipe alignment.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to maximize production.
• Inspect completed work for quality and compliance with plans and standards.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA trench safety.
