RAWSO Constructors is seeking an experienced Utility Foreman to lead underground utility crews in Middle Tennessee. You will oversee daily field activities, ensure quality work, and uphold safety standards while coordinating with project managers and supervisors.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of field leadership in heavy civil work, reads plans, and communicates effectively. The role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits in a team-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of field leadership in heavy civil construction with underground utilities.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and utility drawings.
• Proficient in managing crews of laborers and equipment operators.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training a plus.
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily utility crews in field, installing storm sewer, water, and sanitary systems.
• Monitor productivity and ensure tasks follow plans and specs.
• Enforce jobsite safety protocols per OSHA and company standards.
• Coordinate with project managers and superintendents to meet milestones.
• Review plans, locate utilities, and mark jobsite layout with accuracy.
• Monitor tools and equipment usage and downtime.
• Maintain accurate daily logs of crew activities and progress.
• Communicate expectations and provide leadership and mentorship.
• Adjust work plans based on site conditions, weather, or deliveries.
