Job summary

State Utility Contractors, Inc. is seeking a Pipe Crew Lead to oversee the installation of underground piping including ductile iron, PVC, galvanized steel, black steel, and concrete.

The role requires proficiency with pipe laser equipment and the ability to maintain grade while interpreting blueprints and complex diagrams. The candidate should have at least five years of heavy equipment operation experience (excavators, backhoes) for pipeline installation and be familiar with trench shoring

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; pipe laying and hoe operating experience required.
• Minimum 5 years of heavy equipment operation experience (excavators, backhoes) for pipeline installation.
• Experience reading blueprints and complex diagrams.
• Ability to operate pipe laser and trench shoring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install underground piping (ductile iron, PVC, galvanized steel, black steel, concrete).
• Maintain grade using pipe laser equipment; read blueprints and diagrams.
• Install and operate trench shoring equipment; ensure trench safety.
