Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate underground drilling operations.
• Locate existing utilities with detection equipment.
• Interpret utility maps and design specifications for safe bore paths.
• Direct drilling operations with the driller on depth and direction.
• Monitor progress with electronic tracking equipment.
• Potholing and verify utility crossings for accurate depth.
• Ensure safety protocols and damage prevention.
• Document locations and bore paths with precise measurements.
• Train crew on locating techniques and underground safety.
