Job summary

RadNet in New York is seeking a Lead Ultrasound Technologist to provide advanced ultrasound services across the Lenox Hill Radiology footprint. The role emphasizes leadership, staff coaching, and ensuring high-quality patient care.

You will float to locations, supervise technologists, and collaborate with ICM and physicians to optimize performance and imaging quality while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification must be current.
• BLS certification required.
• Familiar with RIS, imaging equipment and PACS.

Responsibilities

• Provide feedback to Imaging Center Manager on performance and quality.
• Coach, train, support, and motivate team members.
• Monitor and document performance during periods and report to ICM.
• Promote flexible staffing and delegate work appropriately.
• Adhere to OSHA, RadNet practices and safety protocols.
• Perform technologist duties to maintain skills and alleviate staffing shortages.
• Input for hiring and performance evaluation of Ultrasound staff.
• Act on behalf of the ICM when unavailable.
