TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Lead Ultrasound Technologist to oversee the radiology department.

Responsibilities include supervising radiology staff, ensuring high-quality imaging, coordinating scheduling, maintaining supplies, and participating in PI and ACR accreditation activities. Day shift with on-call rotation; 4-9's; Wednesdays off.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited radiological technology program.
  • RDMS credential.
  • 3 years post‑graduate experience and 2 years supervisory/lead experience preferred.
  • BLS/CPR within 30 days of employment start date.

Lead Ultrasound Technologist opportunity at TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare.

Job Summary
  • Supervises radiology departments and front desk personnel within Medical Imaging.
  • Assists in performing imaging procedures in assigned modalities.
  • Oversees the continuation of providing quality patient care while striving to reduce costs of assigned areas.
  • Maintains a steady workflow through departments.
  • Ensures effective departmental operations in accordance with budgetary guidelines, departmental standards and all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Overseas the day-to-day staffing schedules and requirements of the department.
  • Performs radiology exams of patients, maintaining a high quality of care and completing all functions associated with the procedure in a timely manner.
  • Takes call as necessary.
  • Participates in PI plan.
  • Participates and assists department management with ACR accreditation activities and requirements, including quality assurance programs related to the requirements.
  • Maintains supplies and inventory.
Qualifications
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiological technology.
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
  • 3 years post‑graduate experience and 2 years supervisory/lead experience preferred.
