GE HealthCare is seeking a Systems Engineer for the General Imaging Ultrasound team in the United States to drive customer image quality, signal processing architecture, and cross‑functional collaboration across hardware, software, and probes.

The role requires advanced degrees with ultrasound/imaging expertise, MATLAB and C++ proficiency, and a track record in verification, validation, and regulatory compliance; relocation assistance is provided.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Ultrasound, Physics, Optics, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field; 2 years of ultrasound/imaging experience.
• Ultrasound physics and imaging signal processing knowledge at a graduate level.
• Proficiency in MATLAB and C++ for software development.

Responsabilités

• Drive customer image quality for General Imaging Ultrasound products, including clinical image quality performance and workflow usability.
• Drive ultrasound imaging signal processing and signal path architecture across transmit, receive, beamforming, reconstruction, and downstream imaging subsystems.
• Drive ultrasound imaging image processing strategy, including image optimization, post-processing, display pipeline considerations, and related clinical imaging workflows.
• Provide systems architecture leadership across hardware, software, probe, imaging, acoustic output, and clinical workflow functions.
