MICA Steelworks is seeking a skilled Ultrasonic Inspection (UT) Inspector to ensure the highest product quality through in-process and final weld inspections. You will read weld symbols and shop drawings, document inspection results, and support the QA/QC team to uphold AISC standards.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret weld symbols and shop drawings.
• Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement knowledge desired.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork in QA/QC.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspection of welded joints at the assigned plant.
• Ensure fabrication meets customer specs and plan.
• Report, document, and certify inspection results.
• Perform in-process weld inspections on poles and heavy steel assemblies.
• Support QA/QC management in AISC program compliance and audits.
• Coordinate daily/weekly inspection work with QA/QC team.
• Assist in identifying and solving quality nonconformances.
