Job summary

Abacus Intel seeks a UI/UX Designer to establish and lead design standards across its product portfolio. The role designs and prototypes new features, conducts QA on interfaces, and develops a shared design system to ensure consistency across products.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, and shared libraries.
• Comfort working directly with engineers through implementation and design QA.
• Experience running usability tests and translating findings into design changes.
• Ability to work independently and set priorities with limited design oversight.
• Working knowledge of responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA), and how designs translate into HTML/CSS.

Responsibilities

• Design user-centered interfaces and experiences for our consumer-facing website and digital products
• Collaborate with marketing to optimize landing pages, user flows, and conversion paths
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze behavioral data to inform design decisions
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with brand and business goals
• Continuously improve website performance through A/B testing, UX analysis, and iterative design
• Work with developers to ensure accurate implementation of design and UX best practices
