Job summary

American College of Physicians (ACP) is seeking a Manager of User Interface Design and Development to lead a team of designers and developers within the Digital Products and Services group. This hands-on working manager role focuses on creating accessible, high-quality interfaces for interactive products and applications.

The position is full-time and hybrid with two in-office days per week in Philadelphia, PA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in UX/UI design and development.
• Hands-on UX and user-centered web design with wireframes, prototypes and usability testing.
• Experience leading and developing a design/UI team.
• Knowledge of web accessibility and front-end quality standards.
• Ability to prioritize work and guide projects from discovery to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage designers and developers in creating user interfaces for digital products.
• Plan and manage projects from concept through launch, including scope, timelines and resources.
• Contribute to UX/UI work, including design strategy, interface design, wireframes and front-end implementation.
• Establish and maintain design standards, UI libraries, design systems, and reusable components.
• Mentor team members and coordinate with cross-functional partners to deliver products.
