Job summary

Quantinuum is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Engineer in Broomfield, CO to lead manufacturing engineering for ultra-high-vacuum hardware. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree minimum
• Minimum 8 years of experience in hardware manufacturing or product industrialization
• U.S. person for contractual requirements (citizenship/PR/green card)

Responsibilities

• Serve as the manufacturing engineering lead for the team, setting technical direction and standards for current and next‑generation systems
• Create and maintain the manufacturing vision and integrated plan, including readiness, capacity, and production ramp
• Engage early with upstream design partners to influence architecture and drive manufacturability
• Plan future facilities, layouts, equipment, and throughput expansions
• Own manufacturing readiness from concept through production release with defined work instructions and release criteria
• Partner with quality to meet targets for material, labor, yield, cycle time and cost
• Work hands‑on with technicians to assemble, test, and troubleshoot high‑complexity hardware
