Job summary

Ideal Aerosmith Inc. is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to provide hands-on leadership for UAV/USV electrical systems, including power, avionics, and communications.

The role involves architecture ownership, system integration across internal teams and vendors, and driving design reviews, testing, and issue resolution. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
• 10+ years in electrical engineering with complex electromechanical systems, aerospace/UAV/robotics experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience as a technical lead or senior contributor on complex electrical development and integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of UAV/USV electrical architectures (power, avionics, communications, controls).
• Own end-to-end electrical system architecture and interfaces; guide integration across subsystems and vendors.
• Define interfaces and documentation (ICDs, schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, test plans).
• Lead system-level trade studies on power budgets, bandwidth, thermal, EMI/EMC, scalability and cost.
• Design, review, debug, and redesign circuits/PCBs; support testing and validation.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical direction without direct people management.
