Job summary

AIRO Group is seeking a high-impact Avionics & Electrical Engineering Lead to steer the next generation of UAVs. You will lead end-to-end electrical architecture, rapid prototyping, and flight-critical systems integration from concept to field deployment.

You will mentor a fast-growing engineering team in a high-velocity, agile environment, turning ambitious concepts into rugged, mission-ready flight technology for aerospace and defense.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering with 8+ years designing embedded systems.
• Expertise in Altium for multi-layer PCBA layouts and high-speed design.
• Experience mitigating EMI/EMC and safety for harsh environments.
• Proficiency with lab instrumentation and test automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and lay out high-performance PCBs for rugged aerospace conditions.
• Architect and integrate UAS avionics with embedded controllers, power, sensors.
• Prototype hardware rapidly to accelerate development cycles.
• Troubleshoot hardware-software boundary issues with lab tools.
• Conduct environmental and flight qualification testing.
• Support field deployments and post-flight hardware updates.
