Job summary

The Learning Experience in River Vale, NJ is hiring a Lead Twos Teacher. This full-time role starts at $18/hour and runs Monday–Friday, with a focus on nurturing, age-appropriate learning through the LEAP curriculum.

You will guide toddlers, support language and social-emotional growth, and partner with families to ensure a safe, engaging classroom. Ideal candidates bring prior childcare experience, a HS diploma or GED, and ideally a CDA.

Qualifications

• Previous professional childcare/classroom experience required.
• CDA preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with toddlers strongly preferred.
• Nurturing, energetic, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Must meet applicable New Jersey childcare licensing requirements.

• Create fun, age-appropriate learning experiences through play and exploration
• Implement The Learning Experience’s L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• Support language, social-emotional, and developmental growth
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and fellow teachers
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom
• Provide positive classroom guidance and consistent routines
• Support daily care routines including meals, diapering/toileting, rest, and transitions
