Job summary

The Gardner School in Bucktown (Chicago) is seeking a Lead Two's Teacher to lead a developmentally focused classroom and mentor assistant teachers. You will plan engaging lessons, build strong relationships with families, and ensure a safe, joyful learning environment.

The ideal candidate has a CDA or Associate’s degree with ECE credits (Bachelor’s in ECE preferred), CPR/First Aid certification, and at least two years of lead/co-lead experience. U.S.

Qualifications

• Education/Certification: CDA or Associate’s degree with at least 6 credit hours in ECE (required); Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related degree with at least 6 credit hours in ECE (preferred).
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Experience: 2+ years of early childhood education experience (lead or co-lead preferred).
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
