Job summary

The Gardner School of Naperville South is seeking a Lead Teacher to lead and inspire the classroom with creativity, care, and excellence, mentoring assistants and modeling The Gardner School’s core values. You will build meaningful relationships with families and children and plan engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons.

Qualified candidates have a CDA or Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred), CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain), and 1+ year of early childhood

Qualifications

• 1+ years of early childhood education experience (lead or co-lead preferred).
• Ability to lead and inspire a classroom with creativity, care, and excellence.
• Mentor assistant teachers and model The Gardner School’s core values.
• Plan engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons and maintain a joyful classroom environment.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

(Required)* Regular and reliable attendance.* Intermediate PC skills and proficiency with general administrative tasks.
