Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• CDA credential preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience with young children in licensed childcare or preschool.
• State-required pre-service training completed.
• Develops relationships with children, families and staff.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum and Instruction: Implement age-appropriate lessons using Wonder of Learning curriculum.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, nurturing, inclusive classroom.
• Family Communication: Communicate progress and daily activities with families.
• Health and Safety: Supervise activities, ensure well-being and licensing compliance.
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training to enhance teaching skills.
• Assessment and Documentation: Observe and document learning for families.
• Team Collaboration: Support Assistant/Resource Teachers and foster teamwork.
• Behavior Guidance: Model positive guidance for social-emotional growth.
