Qualifications

• High school diploma required; ECE degree preferred
• CDA preferred
• 1–2 years of experience with young children in licensed setting preferred
• State pre-service training completed

Responsibilities

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans using Wonder of Learning curriculum
• Create a safe, nurturing, inclusive classroom
• Maintain open communication with families about child’s progress and daily activities
• Supervise children to uphold health and safety standards
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training
• Observe and document children’s learning and development to inform activities
• Support Assistant and Resource Teachers, fostering team collaboration
• Model and apply positive behavior guidance
