Qualifications

• High school diploma required; degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
• CDA credential preferred
• 1–2 years of experience with young children in licensed childcare or preschool
• State-required pre-service training completed
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a child-centered environment

Responsibilities

• Implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Create a safe, nurturing, inclusive classroom environment.
• Communicate with families about child progress and daily activities.
• Supervise children indoors and outdoors; uphold safety standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
• Observe and document child learning; share insights with families.
• Support Assistant Teachers and ensure teamwork.
• Model positive behavior guidance for social-emotional growth
