Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking a seasoned turbine design expert to advance turbine technology for space propulsion. You will work with propulsion, manufacturing, and systems teams to iterate designs, perform analyses, and drive turbomachinery development from concept through validation.

The role requires 15+ years in engineering, strong collaboration across disciplines, and a startup-like mindset to meet aggressive milestones for Terran R engine systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 15+ years of relevant experience is desired.
• Experience with turbine design and turbo machinery analysis is essential.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with propulsion and manufacturing teams to incorporate turbine design improvements.
• Drive projects to completion in a fast-paced aerospace environment.
• Work at the interfaces of design, development, and analysis of turbomachinery.
