Job summary

Relativity Space, Inc. invites a Principal Turbomachinery Engineer to lead turbine development for the Terran R program. You will own turbomachinery design, collaborate with propulsion and manufacturing teams, and drive complex projects to completion in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

The role leverages deep turbomachinery expertise, experience with NX and Teamcenter, and a track record of delivering challenging engine developments for space applications.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in turbomachinery or propulsion.
• Experience with turbine design and analyses (aerodynamic/structural).
• Understanding of turbopump assembly procedures and verification.

Responsibilities

• Advance turbomachinery design for space applications in collaboration with propulsion and manufacturing teams.
• Drive projects to completion in a fast-paced, ambiguous aerospace environment.
