Zusammenfassung

Relativity Space is seeking a seasoned turbomachinery expert to advance turbine design for space applications. You will collaborate with propulsion development and manufacturing to translate concepts into robust, flight-ready engines and to drive projects from design through testing toward Terran R’s first launch.

Bring 15+ years in engineering, expertise in turbine and turbomachinery analysis, and hands-on turbopump experience.

Qualifikationen

Degree in engineering or related technical field with 15+ years of relevant experience.
Experience with turbine design, aerodynamic and structural analysis.
Experience with LCF and HCF methodologies.
Experience with transient thermal/aerodynamic analysis.
Experience with forced response analysis.
Knowledge of industry standard turbomachinery design and analysis.
Strong communication skills.
Knowledge of turbopump assembly procedures, including rotor balancing, interference fits, clearance checks, structural proofing, and leak checks.
